HOW DOES IT WORK

Standard LEDs cut corners in the light spectrum, leaving gaps in the cyan wavelengths your eyes rely on for contrast and comfort. That's why text can look flat and your eyes tire quickly under ordinary lamps.

Clarity uses dual-blue-pump full-spectrum technology to fill those gaps, producing light that closely matches the balance of natural daylight. The result: sharper detail, truer colours, and noticeably less eye fatigue, especially during longer reading sessions.

I couldn't find a lamp I actually wanted. Designer lights looked good but the light was ordinary, and you could never get them in the right position. Specialist lamps worked well but looked like hospital equipment.

I really like my new Clarity reading light. It looks good and delivers an excellent focused light which is very useful when I'm reading or sewing. I'm happy my old light broke now because it made me buy the lovely new one

I needed a light to read by and had not wanted a floor standing lamp because traditional ones with large lamp shades take up too much space and don't direct the light where I need it and all the modern ones I've looked at had flimsy bases so were prone to falling over. But, because of where I want my chair - in a bay window - I could not fit a table behind to place a lamp on - so I took a gamble on the Clarity lamp....

The very first thing that cheered me when I opened the package was how heavy the base is. The lamp was straight forward to assemble on my own and is very stable. In fact, it is fabulous!

Mine is white. It is very modern and streamlined but sufficiently unobtrusive that I don't think would look out of place in an older home. I'm sure the black would look equally smart.

I love the light it emits and I love the way it turns on and off with barely a touch. I use mine for reading by but because the neck can be bent lower, I imagine it would be useful for needlework or other close work.

Was going to return the item as it did not work but when I changed the plug, two are provided, it worked just fine. Suggest the three pin plug does not work but the three pin plug you assemble works just fine.
